What a truly meaningful day at the Fulbright Impact Lunch at the U.S. Embassy Berlin.
Bringing together leaders from business, entrepreneurship, and innovation across the Fulbright community, our conversations centered on a shared commitment: Giving Back and how each of us can help strengthen international exchange and create opportunities for future generations of Fulbrighters.
We were especially honored to be hosted by Alan Meltzer, one of the honorary chairpersons of the Fulbright Germany Board, at the remarkable JFK Forum of the U.S. Embassy Berlin—with views overlooking the Tiergarten, the Quadriga, and the Bundestag—and to be joined by Fulbright Germany Board Members Scott Weinhold and Erica Thibault.
A special highlight was the inspirational talk by Anne-Laure de Chammard (Siemens Energy), whose international leadership experience across industry, public service, and large-scale transformation helped open the discussion and set the tone for a rich and forward-looking exchange.
What made this gathering particularly impactful was the breadth and depth of perspectives across the Fulbright network a community that spans industries, generations, and leadership paths:

To sustainability, urban development, and energy transition through voices like Thomas Kraubitz (sustainable cities & infrastructure) and Florian Zickfeld (renewable energy and business development).
Entrepreneurial and operational leadership from David Duwe (exoskeleton and health-tech solutions) and Karim Rochdi (real estate investment and development) added further depth, while long-standing international leadership journeys such as Stefan Kammer (technology executive) highlighted the global reach of the network.
This breadth is what makes Fulbright so unique.
