About Fulbright Germany

Since 1952, the German-American Fulbright Commission (Fulbright Germany) has facilitated academic exchange between the United States of America and the Federal Republic of Germany. More than 46,000 Americans and Germans have been sponsored through various grant programs. Fulbright Germany awards up to 700 grants annually and maintains one of the largest and most diverse Fulbright exchanges worldwide.
