Fulbright Legacy Lecture - Innovation and Knowledge have no Boundaries
We are excited to invite you to the concluding highlight of the 70th anniversary year of Fulbright in Germany, our upcoming Fulbright Legacy Lecture - Innovation and Knowledge have no Boundaries, to be held virtually on December 13th, 2022, at 7:00 pm CET (1:00 pm EST/ 10:00 am PST).
One of our most illustrious and impactful alumni, Andreas von Bechtolsheim will be talking about the importance of transatlantic and international exchanges and his very own experiences as a German Fulbrighter in the U.S.
Following the lecture, Andy v. Bechtolsheim will talk about the future of technology and society with Fulbright Italy alumna Assistant Professor Simona Tiribelli (Director for AI Ethics at the MIT-Harvard Institute for Technology and Global Health; Assistant-Professor at the University of Macerata) and Fulbright Germany alumna Nadja Yang (President of the European Young Engineers; Rhodes Scholar at Oxford), the session will be moderated by Fulbright Germany alumna Rebecca Heilweil (Reporter at Recode).
This Legacy Lecture reflects on Fulbright’s mission to build empathy, resilience, and courage in our community to empower our grantees, alumnae and alumni to embark on new paths to advance knowledge and effect positive change in our societies and the world.
